February 2009 - Kiva Room

Late in November of 2008, I was honored to receive a commission to paint four works for the then under construction Ritz-Carlton Dove Mountain Golf Clubhouse, a building  which was being rushed to completion in time for the Accenture Match Play Golf Tournament in February of 2009.  Despite the short deadline, the clubhouse was finished as was my work.....in time  for the tournament.  The paintings are now permanently installed in the Kiva Room of Cayton's Restaurant at the Golf Clubhouse.  Cayton's  is open to the public.

 February 2009-Designer Showhouse 
Painted diptych "Aravaipa Creek" was on display February 21st, 2009 through March 29th ,2009 at the Tucson Museum of Art Designer Showhouse. Rancho Merlita, cosmetic legend Merle Norman's l950's era historic ranch estate, was chosen as the site for the 2009 Designer Showhouse. The classic, southwest ranch style home was completely redecorated inside and out by 27 Tucson interior and exterior designers and art was in abundance. Proceeds benefitted the Tucson Museum of  Art.
